Anomaly Investigation Digs and Repairs

Location: Columbia, TN, USA

Purpose/Opportunity:

In response to tool run data, the client required investigative digs to inspect and potentially repair anomaly sites within their fencing facility.

Methods:

Our crew conducted hand excavation, which was 8 FT x 4 FT, removing a below-grade concrete slab and utilized sandblasting to isolate the target pipe section for NDE inspection. The client directed a recoat repair of the pipe.

Results/Benefits:

The successful recoating and backfilling of the pipe met the client’s specifications, ensuring pipeline integrity. We had an 8-man crew with a 3.5-week duration that we were able to meet on time.
