Houston Rutledge has been an integral part of Strike for 13 years, transitioning through key roles from HSE Specialist to Vice President. His journey underscores a deep understanding of safety processes honed through years of field support, now applied in his leadership position. As VP of HSE, Houston ensures employee well-being and environmental safety while developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and fostering collaboration with operations to fortify the company’s safety culture. Strike’s proactive culture prioritizes employee empowerment and safety. Houston advises newcomers to understand company processes and lead with humility and compassion. What keeps him motivated? Megan Brzovskis has been with Strike for 12 years, progressing through several key roles including Project Coordinator, Deputy Project Manager, Project Manager, Program Manager, Manager of Project Management, Senior Project Manager, and now Director of Project Management. Starting out as a document control and procurement clerk in engineering, she gained valuable insights into quality document control and procurement management, which opened doors to project coordinating and estimating. These experiences, coupled with mentorship from industry veterans, prepared her for a successful career in project management, particularly in the construction side of the industry where she truly found her passion. In her current role, Megan supports the West Texas region by providing project management and coordination, mentoring, and training to help the team perform at its best. She describes Strike’s culture as one of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration, particularly within her region. The advice she offers to newcomers is to adopt a broad perspective, embrace challenges, and get involved directly in the field. Humility, she believes, is key to personal and professional growth. What keeps Megan motivated is her love for the job and the people she works with. The mentors and role models who have supported her throughout her career at Strike continue to inspire her week after week. She also emphasizes the importance of surrounding oneself with positivity, as it empowers and brings out the best in everyone.

Mitch Heim has been part of Strike for four years, progressing through roles from Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to Engineering Manager. Throughout his journey, he’s learned the value of tailored communication and now leads a team of 15 engineers dedicated to providing top-notch solutions to customers.
